OPPORTUNITY

We have an opportunity for a Resident Experience Assistant to provide exceptional care to our residents.  The Resident Experience Assistant supports the nursing team by providing non-nursing care duties.

PART TIME HOURS - VARIABLE - 20 HOURS WEEKLY

Responsibilities

  • Transports residents to and from dining room and activities.
  • Assists in the dining room taking resident meal/beverage orders; serving and removing food trays. Supports residents with preparing food as needed (i.e. cutting food).
  • Assists in cleaning tables and resetting appropriate place settings.
  • Assists in cleaning and sanitizing equipment as directed by supervisor.
  • Ensures resident’s water pitchers are clean and filled with fresh water.
  • Observes and reports changes in resident conditions to the Residential Services Director.
  • Ensures quality customer service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Follows departmental safety rules while utilizing proper body mechanics.
  • Participates in all in-services and activities as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Desired

  • One year of healthcare experience
