    Risen Son is currently looking to hire a Director of Sales and Marketing Leader!

    We are seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to oversee sales department and all activities associated with sales and marketing. Achieve occupancy goals for the community. Develop and oversee processes to achieve occupancy and admission goals for the community. Educate and market to prospective residents and their families for all levels of care.


    • Oversees the other sales team members and ensure that CNL and Admissions.
    • Coordinator are meeting and exceeding their goals.
    • Works closely with prospective residents, families and referral sources and close sales.
    • Works with all prospective residents and their family members.
    • Ensures follow-up strategies are in place for all leads.
    • Oversees the move in process for independent and assisted living, and the admission process for SNF and LTC - ensuring completion of the corporate admission packet, working cooperatively with the community team.
    • Be the lead sales person for either independent, assisted living, or care center (CNL/CL).
    • Works with team on marketing plan and responsible for implementation for all sales and marketing activities.
    • Responsible for all advertising and marketing implementation with input from Regional Sales Director and/or VP of Sales.
    • Responsible for strategy regarding outreach for all levels of care.
    • Greets all new residents and families and introduce them to the community.
    • Works with non-medical referral sources and continuously strive to develop new ones.
    • Submit weekly activity summary from CRM.
    • Provides communication of potential admissions to all departments, ensuring they receive the necessary information and paperwork to make a timely admission.
    • Keeps the resident census board up-to-date.
    • Ensures quality customer service to the residents, families, staff, and all external customers the department serves.
    • Daily compliance with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool. Input all daily sales activity.
    • Provides support, as a backup, for the Clinical Liaison sales person (where applicable).
    • Maintains sensitivity and awareness of the faith-based care provided, keeping constituent and donor opinions in mind when making decisions.
    • Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care to all residents.
    • Assumes responsibility for department compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations.
    • Assumes accountability for the implementation of approved policies and procedures.
    • Demonstrates consistent management of resources.
    • Operates department within the established budget guidelines.
    • Supervises proper care and use of equipment and waste disposal procedures in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
    • Attends and participates in continuing education programs designed to keep abreast of changes in the profession.
    • Observes all community policies and procedures, including but not limited to wound care, safety, infection control, residents’ rights, and those contained in the employee handbook.
    • Maintains the confidentiality of all protected health information whether electronic, written, or oral exposed to either during the course of assigned duties or as a result of an incidental disclosure.
    • Applies the minimum necessary standard in all matters related to residents’ protected health information.


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Previous marketing or sales experience preferred.
    • Demonstrate dependability, cooperation, and interest in the care of the elderly.
    • Display leadership qualities, good communication skills, and a desire to continuously learn.
    • Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
    • Ability to follow written and oral directions.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Possess the ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
    • Pass background check before and during employment, as defined by Christian Horizons’ background check policy.
